With it’s headquarters in Rio de Janeiro – RJ, Brazil, VemSer – Esporte & Psicologia is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) focused in the areas of sports, education, health, entrepreneurship and citizenship.
VemSer was born out of the belief that sports can be used as a tool to help girls at social risk to develop awareness and citizenship. It is designed to offer this public a possibility of building a better future. Through its actions, VemSer seeks to provide a positive environment for the youngsters who are benefited by its projects and campaigns, an environment where they can develop their character and grow up as citizens.
With this goal, VemSer develops and coordinates sports and education related projects for students from public schools, advises and trains professionals to work with athletes and sports teams and promotes courses and lectures related to the areas in which it acts.
Using sports as a motivating agent, we hope to contribute to lowering the number of public school evasion in Rio de Janeiro as well as to stimulate the benefited youngsters to stay in school, complete their studies and keep alive the dream of getting into universities.
